Please read these terms carefully. They set out the basis on which Bike Life Competitions Ltd may buy your motorcycle. They do not affect your statutory rights.

1. About us

This service is operated by Bike Life Competitions Ltd (company no. 16096326). You can contact us at info@bikelifecompetitions.co.uk.

2. Enquiries and valuations

When you submit your bike’s details through our “Sell Your Bike” form, you are making an enquiry, not entering a binding contract. If your bike is of interest, we will contact you with an indicative valuation. Any valuation we give is an estimate based on the information and photos you provide, and is subject to a physical inspection of the bike. Neither you nor we are under any obligation to proceed until a final price is agreed in writing (including by email or message).

3. Your bike and your information

You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, and that you are the legal owner of the bike (or are authorised to sell it). You must tell us about any outstanding finance, insurance write-off category, import status, or accident damage. We may carry out an HPI or similar check. If the bike or its paperwork differs materially from what you told us, we may adjust or withdraw our offer.

4. Inspection, collection and payment

If we agree to proceed, we will arrange to inspect the bike. Our final offer is confirmed after that inspection. Payment is normally made by electronic bank transfer. We will not take the bike until payment arrangements are agreed, and we may wait for cleared funds and confirmation of ownership before completing. You are responsible for providing the V5C registration document, keys, and any service history.

5. Change of ownership

Once the sale completes, ownership of the bike passes to us and we will notify the DVLA of the change of keeper. You should retain your confirmation of sale for your records and cancel any insurance or direct debits relating to the bike.

6. Cancellation

Either party may decide not to proceed at any point before a final price is agreed and payment is made. Once the sale has completed, it cannot be reversed except as required by law.

7. Your data and marketing

We process the details you submit in order to value your bike and contact you about your enquiry. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data. We will only send you marketing about competitions, offers and news if you have separately opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from an enquiry or sale.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your enquiry applies.
